Bhabikal to stage Macbeth
SILCHAR, September 6: Bhabikal, a well–known cultural organization of this town, will stage William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth here on September 9 at District Library auditorium.
Santanu Paul, director of the drama, said for the last few months rehearsal has been going on in full swing. “A 15 day–long theatre workshop has also been conducted for the play. It has been arranged with a view to increase the theatrical skills and proficiency of the actors. Santanu at the same said that they did not get financial aid from any of the central funding agencies which provide help to the organization for the progress of theatre. All total around 20 actors and actress are involved in the play.
